Low Back Pain
Low Back Pain (LBP) atau yang biasanya dikeluhkan
sebagai sensasi nyari pada tulang punggung bawah dengan atau tanpa
penjalaran ke tungkai bawah, hal ini menyebabkan keterbatasan pada aktivitas dan gangguan. (1) Hal ini
meningkat seiring bertambahnya usia. Faktor yang mempengaruhi LBP antara lain
postur tubuh yang buruk, overweight, kelemahan otot yang menyusun tulang
belakang. (1) Kekakuan pada persendian
dan jaringan lunak sekitarnya memicu terjadinya LBP. (2) (1) Aktif secara
fisik menjadi rekomendasi untuk menghindari sedentary
life pada penderita LBP. (3) (1) Terapi obat
pada umumnya hanya meringankan keluhan untuk satu atau dua jam, selain itu dapat
memperberat kerja ginjal dan menimbulkan efek samping penurunan kesadaran. (2) (1) William’s
Flexion Exercise ditemukan pada 1937 merupakan suatu latihan yang bertujuan untuk mengurangi tekanan pada elemen tulang punggung bawah. (4) (1)
